Tips for Target Coupons

Target has many rules  and special policies for couponing. With raising taxes and the standard of living rates consistently rising, Target coupons, among many others, have become vastly popular. However, Target has a Corporate Coupon Policy and a Price Matching Policy that many people do not know about. In addition to their formal policies, there are many tips and tricks for couponing that are essential to know before you step foot into the store.

It is no secret that Target offers up some of the most budget-friendly and saving opportunities to help keep you from breaking the bank. Even still, it is important to know what to look for when shopping, how to use the coupons correctly, when to know that it is OK to stand up for yourself when dealing with grumpy sales clerks.

One of the best tips to remember is that you can use multiple coupons on a single product if you follow their basic policy. They allow one Target coupon, one Cartwheel offer, and one manufacturer coupon to be combined per product purchased. Target coupons can be found in a variety of places. The Target website offers coupons from both manufactures and Target directly. In order to figure out which is which, look at the text on the coupon. Coupons from the Target store directly will typically have "With the Purchase of . . . "listed. Manufacturer's coupons usually have "When You Buy . . . " listed.

Be sure to keep your eyes out for price cuts, red clearance stickers, peelie and tearpad coupons, and other discounts. These discounts can be combined with coupons to create an unbeatable price. Other promotions to look out for are Target gift card deals. These promotions may last as short as a week or longer than a month and are generally posted inside the store. To get this gift card at check-out, usually you have to buy specific participating products.

A final tip to remember that there is nothing wrong with using Target coupons, or couponing in general. If you come across a grumpy cashier, just ignore the person, smile, and continue to rack up those savings.  Speaking of coupons and tips, check out this site for awesome beauty tips and promos!
